The Ghetto Gourmet is coming out of hiding this week for a celebration of thanks to all you good people that love eating great food, making new friends and doing something groovy on a Monday night.
Chef Cynthia Washburn is cooking up Smoked Duck & Truffled Chevre on Rosemary Shortbread with Red Onion Marmalade. Then a Warm Spinach Salad with Roasted Fuyu Persimmons, Hazelnuts & Endive, Rack of Lamb with Pomegranate Mint Sauce and Stuffing, with a Pumpkin Pot de Crème. We will have something special for you vegetarians, have no fear.
We’re also featuring some downhome Amercian music from the Blue Roots and maybe a drop-in set from San Francisco’s own wayward comic, Mr Louis Katz.
We expect a full house, so please make your reservations soon.
It’s this Monday, November 21st at 8pm in Rockridge.
